Editorial Guidelines
How we research, write, and maintain our automation guides
Our Editorial Mission
Every guide published on digimateai.com exists to give business owners in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UK, and Germany accurate, actionable, and commercially honest information about automation technology. We write for decision-makers who need practical answers, not marketing fluff.
We apply the same standards to our content that we apply to our client work: start with the real problem, provide the most direct solution, and be transparent about trade-offs and costs.
Authorship
All guides on digimateai.com are written or directly supervised by Shakeel Ahmed, founder of DigiMateAI and practising automation engineer. Shakeel has personally built and deployed WhatsApp bots, n8n workflows, and AI agents for businesses across the Gulf and Europe, giving him first-hand experience with the tools, pricing, and challenges covered in every guide.
Guides carry a byline, publish date, and last-modified date so readers can assess recency. Where a guide cites third-party data (Meta pricing, API costs, platform limits), the source is stated explicitly.

Research Process
Every guide goes through the following steps before publication:
- Topic selection — topics are chosen based on real questions DigiMateAI receives from prospects and clients, supplemented by keyword research to confirm search demand. We only write about topics where we have direct practical experience.
- Primary research — wherever possible, data and claims in our guides come from primary sources: official platform documentation (Meta, n8n, OpenAI), direct API testing, client project results, or published research from credible institutions. We do not republish AI-generated statistics without independent verification.
- Drafting — guides are structured to answer the reader’s core question in the first 100 words (answer-first format), followed by supporting detail, comparison tables, and practical how-to steps.
- Technical review — code samples, docker configurations, API call sequences, and pricing tables are tested or verified against live platforms before publication. If a code block is illustrative rather than production-ready, this is stated clearly.
- Editorial review — the final draft is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, and that all claims are supported by the cited evidence.
Fact-Checking Standards
- Pricing data — WhatsApp, n8n, Make.com, and Zapier pricing tables are verified against each platform’s official pricing pages at the time of publication and flagged for review whenever a platform announces a pricing change.
- Statistics & benchmarks — figures such as “save 20+ hours per week” or “48-hour delivery” are based on actual project outcomes tracked across DigiMateAI engagements, not unverified marketing claims.
- Platform capabilities — feature comparisons (e.g., n8n vs Zapier) reflect the current documented capabilities of each platform. We note when a feature is in beta or subject to change.
- Regulatory information — legal and compliance references (GDPR, UAE PDPL, CCPA) are based on publicly available legislation. This content is informational only and does not constitute legal advice.
Independence & Conflicts of Interest
DigiMateAI earns revenue by delivering automation projects to clients. We do not currently earn affiliate commissions from any automation platform we mention (n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Meta, etc.). When this changes, we will disclose it clearly at the top of any affected guide.
Tool recommendations in our guides reflect our genuine assessment based on client project experience. When we recommend n8n over a competitor, it is because our practical experience shows it delivers better value for most use cases we handle — not because of a commercial arrangement.
Update Policy
The automation landscape evolves quickly — platform pricing changes, APIs deprecate, and new features ship frequently. Our update policy:
- Guides are reviewed for accuracy at least every 6 months.
- Major platform changes (pricing, API deprecation, policy update) trigger an immediate review and update of any affected guides.
- When a guide is substantively updated, the
dateModifiedvalue in both the page metadata and JSON-LD schema is updated to the revision date. - Corrections to factual errors are made as soon as identified. If you spot an inaccuracy, please email shakeelahmed@digimateai.com — we treat corrections seriously and respond within 5 business days.
What We Do Not Publish
- Sponsored posts or paid placements disguised as editorial content.
- AI-generated guides that have not been reviewed and fact-checked by a human expert.
- Content that promotes illegal activity, spam, or deceptive automation practices.
- Speculation presented as fact.
